How to move from an OK performance to a Very Good Performance Move from being ZERO to HERO

* Talk slower - EVERYONE

* Look at the audience when we are speaking and acting out our parts

* Use more expression

* Don’t get distracted by the people behind- Cyprus, Thomas, Patrick, Linda, Fine, Angel, Jharda’e, Samantha, Oh S’mar, Jasmine, Jason

* Know the timing off by heart

* Talk louder - Fine, Angel,

* Be confident don’t be shy

* When you hear your cue- act on it.

* Look not laugh when someone makes a mistake

Don’t giggle when someone is acting

* Bodies facing audience, but also looking at the actor beside you - include your audience

* Don’t get distracted when you’re back stage

* Use some actions when you’re talking

* Get ready back stage

* Spread out those who are flowers, mountains, fish,

* Don’t let your class down

* Put lots of effort into the class performance

* Take your role seriously

* Leave other people alone

* Concentrate on your part

* Try and make the performance real

I think I need to work on not laughing when someone makes a mistake.

1. Are you pleased with your painting? why / why not?

Yes because I did really good in my work, because I stayed inside the lines.

2. What did you find easy when you created your painting?

I found it easy to mix colours together and paint them in each section.

3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your painting? -think about painting, ruling up the grid, measuring, using the co-ordinates, etc.

I found it tricky to paint in the small lines, I also found it hard to drawing the grid lines.

4. Who / What helped you when you were painting?

Jasmine and Lavinia helped me draw and measure up my grid lines. Miss Nichol and Miss Paton helped me mix up my paints.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: colours, painting, ruling up, etc.

Next time I would use a different colour because I would like my painting to be more colourful next time.   

6. What frustrated you when you created your painting?

I got frustrated because it was hard using a thick brush and keeping it steady.

My Holiday Story By Tiare

On Sunday During the holidays I went to the Warehouse with my nan. I went with my nan to the Warehouse to get me some new shoes. It was really good because it was fun trying to pick my shoes but I couldn’t make up my mind so I got some black and white shoes.

When I got my black and white shoes and I felt so happy that they were so comfortable. After I got my shoes my nan and I went to get some butter chicken for food.  It was so yummy that I wanted some more butter chicken.

When my nan and I finished our butter chicken we went back home to get ready for church. After church was finished my nan and I went home and thought about dinner my nan and I thought about having mcdonalds so we went to mcdonalds and brought back the food it was a big day.

After we brought the food back my nan and I ate our mcdonalds and after that me and my nan had a sleep on the bed because it was a very big day for me and my nan because we went to the Warehouse, church and then mcdonalds so it was a very big day so after our big sleep we got up and watched television.

Tiare's recount on the Athletics Sports

“ Yay“ It’s was Friday and Athletics is about to start. On Friday we had an awesome day. Panmure Bridge School was going to do Athletics and I was extremely excited. I just could not wait. But the sad thing was that I could not do any of it. I enjoyed helping Miss Sayers with the high jump. Then we had weird crazy weather, it was sunny and windy.

I was amazed with what the 10 to 11 years old could do. Cody N and his twin brother Jarred were jumping really high. I could not believe what I was looking at. Then there was awesome Lavinia and Stefanie who were great. They made it look easy I was amazed at how high they could jump. The order that it went in was Lavinia came first and Stefanie came second, but I thought they both were winners. Then I thought it was going to rain but Miss Sayers was telling me not to say that but I
kept saying it. Just before finishing with the juniors, the bell had rang and people ran off to get there morning tea. Then morning tea had finished and I went to go watch shotput with the 10 to 11 years old. “ Wow that’s awesome “ I thought. The shotput was fun because I was looking at it while others were throwing it and it looked awesome!

“Run, Hillary you can do it ! “ 400m run. There I was watching people run sitting next to Merika. Then we had finished our amazing day but had finished off with the big 400m run.

My Report On Sonny Bill Williams, By Tiare

Sonny Bill Williams was born August 3rd in Auckland in 1985. His parents are Jonh and Lee. His father is Samoan. He Attended Owairaka Primary, Wesley Intermediate and Mount Albert Grammar School. His father was an accomplished rugby league player and Williams said it was his mother who introduced him to the game.







He started his career off by playing professional rugby league with the Canterbury Bulldogs in Australia then he left the Bulldogs to play rugby union with French club Toulon. In 2010 he signed with the New Zealand rugby union team called the All Blacks.



Sonny Bill had a new exciting career and tried boxing in 2009 and for an amazement he actully won Williams became Muslim after converting to Islamin. He is the first Muslim to represent the All Blacks, Cursaders and Barbarians.



Now Williams has carried on with his life now and is an amazing rugby star and is playing with the All Blacks.
