The Three Little Pigs Story By Tim

The Three Little Pigs
One day there were three little pigs and their mother. The mother wanted the three little pigs to build houses because they were growing up. So they took off. The first little pig built his house out of straw. After the 1st little pig finished the second pig built his house out of sticks. Finally the third little pig built his house out of bricks. It took along time to build his house. Then the big bad wolf came out of the forest and saw the straw house.  The Big Bad Wolf looked into the window and said in a tiny little voice “ Little pig, little pig can I come in “ and the first little pig said angrily “ No, No, No, I will not let you in.

So the Big Bad Wolf kicked and kicked till the straw house was destroyed. The first little pig ran to the second little pigs house and yelled “ Help, Help, Help! The second little pig said “ Get in, Get in!
The Big Bad Wolf came over to the house made of sticks and looked into the window. He  said
“Little pigs, little pigs let me come in”.
The little pigs said” No, No, No we will not let you in. So the Big Bad Wolf kicked and kicked till the house was destroyed. The first and the second little pigs ran to the third little pigs house and yelled “Help, Help, Help”. Later the Big Bad Wolf came to the third little pigs house and looked into the window.  The Wolf shouted“Little pigs, Little pigs can I come in”
The little pigs said angrily “No, No, No we will not let you in” The Big Bad Wolf growled “Fine I will Kick and kick till the house is destroyed”. So the Big Bad Wolf kicked and kicked, but the house didn’t get destroyed. He was so tired, so he climbed up the chimney.

The three little pigs knew that the Big Bad Wolf was climbing down the chimney. So the three little pigs had an idea. The three little pigs put a big pot of boiling water with carrots, broccoli and cabbage in the boiling water. The Big Bad Wolf didn’t know the big pot with all the vegetables was in the fire place. Finally the big bad wolf fell into the big boiling water, SPLASH! the Big Bad Wolf fell into the boiling water. The three little pigs had the Big Bad Wolf for dinner. The three little pigs lived happily ever after.

My retelling of the Three Little Pigs Story By Teagan

Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. One day their mother told them that they were old enough to build their own houses and live by themselves and not with their mother. The first pig worked very hard and built his house out of hay and straw. Then he relaxed on a stack of straw. The second pig worked very hard too and built his house out of twigs and sticks. Then sat down on a the chair he made out sticks. The third pig worked the hardest and built his house out of cement and bricks. He worked all day to make his house perfect.

One day there was a wolf and this wolf didn’t have his lunch, so he was looking for a feast. He was walking along the forest when he saw this house made out of straw. He looked in the window with his big eyes  and he could see a big piece of bacon. It was the first little pig. He shouted to the pig in his deep voice “Little pig, little pig let me in”.
The pig replied in his high voice “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin”. The big bad wolf replied in his deep voice “I’ll huff and I’ll blow your house down”. So he huffed and he puffed and he blew the first pigs house down. So the first pig ran jiggling his way  over to the second pigs house.
He knocked on the door and shouted in horror “Open the door a wolf’s chasing me”. The wolf looked in with his big eyes into the second little pigs house. He saw two pieces of bacon, they were the pigs. The big bad wolf shouted “Little pigs, little pigs let me in”, the pigs replied “Not by the hairs of my chiny chin chin”.
The big bad wolf replied “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down”. So he huffed and he puffed and blew his house down. So the jiggling pigs ran over to the third little pigs house. They knocked on the door and shouted “Open the door a wolf wants to eat us for dinner”. The big bad wolf looked inside and saw three pieces of bacon. He shouted “Little pigs, little pigs let me in”.
the pigs replied “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins”.
the wolf replied “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down”. So the big bad wolf huffed and he puffed but he could not blow the third pigs house down. He was frustrated. The wolf thought of a plan. He would climb on top of the chimney and come down the fireplace, but the third pig was ready. He put boiling hot water over the hot, hot fire. The wolf fell in “OWWW” he screamed. The big bad wolf stopped bullying and was never seen again.
The pigs lived together in their own brick houses and lived happily ever after.

The Three Little Pigs Story - retold By Fine

The Three Little Pigs.

Once long ago when the sun was always shining, there lived three little pigs. They lived with their mother. One day their mother said “ You are too old to be living with me, you should find another place to live”. So they went off into the forest looking for somewhere to live.

The youngest pig went walking in the direction of a farm. He then found straw and started to build himself a house with the straw. The youngest pig was then ready to live in his house.

The second oldest pig went searching in a forest. He found a lot of sticks. He decided to build his house out of sticks. When he was finished he was ready to live in his house.

The oldest pig came across a pile of bricks. He started to think. He then started to build a house made from bricks. It started to get dark. The oldest pig didn’t finish his house till the next sunrise, but as soon as he was finished he was happy with what he had made.

The next afternoon the big bad wolf could smell someone new. The smell was coming from the farm where the youngest pig lived. The big bad wolf said to the pig “ Little pig, little pig let me in”. He then replied “ Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin I will not let you in ”. The big bad wolf replied back “I will Huff and I’ll Puff and blow your house in”. So that is what he did.

The youngest pig then ran to his older brothers house. The big bad wolf then followed him into the forest. He said to them through his window “ Little pigs, little pigs let me in ”. The pigs then replied to the wolf “Not by the hairs on our chinny chin chin, we will not let you in ”. Then he replied “ I will huff and I’ll puff and I will blow your house down ”. So he did.

The two brothers ran to the oldest brothers house. The oldest pig then locked the door. The big bad wolf said to them “ Little pigs, little pigs let me in” . They replied “ Not by the hairs on our chinny chin chins, we will not let you in”. Then the Big bad wolf replied back “ Then I’ll huff and I’ll Puff and I will blow your house in”. So he tried but he couldn’t. So he tried but just couldn’t. He had an idea that came to his head.

He saw a chimney on the roof. Little did he know the pigs were expecting him. The pigs put a big pot of boiling water in the fire waiting for the wolf to come tumbling down into the pot.  They waited and waited for him to come down. They heard a sound. Was it the wolf?. Yes it was. As he made a big splash into the pot they put the lid on the pot so he couldn’t come out. The pigs were very relieved. They all lived in the same house protected from anyone trying to harm them and they all lived happily ever after.

During the last six weeks of term we had Mr Blackmore as our teacher. He did a wonderful job teaching us. We learnt a lot about space and during the next week you will see more of our learning on space. Miss Paton is now back and looks forward to teaching everyone next week and seeing the wonderful work Room 5 is proud of.

 My Art
My Art is about Neil Armstrong. In my picture there is and Earth and a Sun. As you can see the sun has a very strong effect on the earth and the earth has lots of clouds. Most people who draw earth don't have clouds but if they don't have clouds there would be no rain and if there is no rain we would die. I like picture because it is very detailed.

The story about my picture By Nicola

The story behind my picture is about some of the colours I like. As you can see, there are a lot of shades of blue, especially the moon and it’s reflection. To me blue makes things stand out and it makes things look dramatically interesting, I reckon everything need a little blue i it. The reason why I wanted to draw this picture is because I thought it would look nice and different to other kids in my class. Hope you enjoy looking at this.

Easy Maths By Tevita

Easy Maths
1. 10 Times Table I work out my 10x table by adding the 0 to the number.
 10 x 2 = 20.
 321 x 10 = 3210.

2. 11 Times Table I work out my 11x tables by writing the same number again at the end.
 3 x 11 = 33
4 x 11 = 44

3. 5 Times Table I work out my 5x tables like if it was a odd the answer is always end with a 5 but if it is a even number it ends with 0.
 3 x 5 = 15
 8 x 5 = 40

 4. 0 Times Table I work out my ox table because the answer always end with 0.
4 x 0 = 0
 8 x 0 = 0

5. 6 Times Table I work out my 6x table by 5 x plus.
For example 6 x 8 = 5 x plus = 48
6 x 359 = 5 x plus = 2154

6. 9 Times Table I work out my 9x tables by 10 x minus the number.
 For example 1. 9 x 3 = 10 x 3 (30) -3 = 27
9x14= 10x14(140)-14=126

7. Breaking up. Break up #’s into times tables I know. 13 x 7 = 10 x 7= 70
3 x 7 = 21 = 91 3.
Count in 9’s. 9, 18, 27 …............. 7.

12 Times Table I work out my 12 Times Table by 10x plus double the number.
For example 12 x 7 = 10 x plus double the number = 84 12 x 624 = 10 x plus double the number = 7488

 8. 11 Times Table I work out my 11x table greater than 10. by multiplying by 10 and then adding the number to it. E.g. 11 x 11 = 11x ten plus add 11 =110 + 11 =121 11x13 =10 x13 (130) +13 = 143 11x14= 140+14=154

Hello Miss Paton

How has your trip been? Hope you are exploring a lot of countries and enjoying your holiday with your brother Mark.

Mr Blackmore has taught us a lot of things about space. He has also taught us about Neil Armstrong. We have made a timeline on space with, Laika the dog, the first monkey into space and Neil Armstrong.

We had a soccer field day and it was for boys and girls in year’s 5, 6 and  7. I was in the yellow team with Teagan, Andre, Chloe, Orica, Faitele, Kobe, Kyra Lee, Leenas, Bradley and Efaraima. I was the top scorer with the total of 4 goals and Teagan had the second most with the total of 3. Our coach was Mr Murray. We won 3 games and lost 3 games.
Your’s Sincerely,
Kifi

My Neil Armstrong work By Piripi

Neil Armstrong was a commander of the Apollo 11 mission. Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. As he stepped on the dusty surface, Armstrong said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Astronaut Neil Armstrong developed a fascination with flight at an early age and earned his student pilot's license when he was 16. In 1947, he then flew jets for the US Navy. Armstrong began his studies in aeronautical engineering at Purdue University at a U.S. Navy scholarship. He was one of the first pilots to join NASA. Armstrong died on 25th August 2012.

My art on space By Isabella

I love my earth because the blue means calm and the white means peace which astronauts have to be when they go into space. Also my stars look like they're on fire and my planet looks alive and it looks like art. So I love my art because it looks like a real photograph but I added a little me.
