The students in Room 5 will start back in February creating amazing posts on this blog and their individual blogs. My adventure on the  Tamaki River Walk

One  sunny day on November 5th the seniors went on an adventure to the Panmure Basin and the Pakuranga Rotary Walkway. When we were walking around we did some exercise on the fitness equipment at the Panmure Basin. When we were walking we were all tired but we still had to keep going until we got to the skate park. While we were walking people were asking Miss Paton “When is it morning tea?”. She said “Another half and hour”. I said to myself I wish I was at the skatepark, I am so hungry. After asking Miss Paton about morning tea we were all whining. We finally got there and we started to eat our lunch. I said “Yes, finally!”

Then we left the skate park and walked across the bridge. When we went down this man was cleaning the boat. When we went passed him It was like toxic gas coming out of the hose.  I ran to the front and I waited for the others. When we were half way people were tired,  they wanted to stop and have a break. So we did.

After that Room 6 left us behind and we buddied up with Room 8. Then me and my buddy were playing eye spy while we were catching up to Room 6, but they  kept moving  faster and faster. We caught up to them but they took off. We started walking faster and faster and then we got to pakuranga yacht club .  We finally caught up to Room 6.

Then we had lunch and Room 6 saw a snakes and ladder game. When they went on the slide their shorts were dirty and even the slide was filled with mud and bugs. People did not care if they got dirty and even the ladder was slippery from the mud and rain . When I finished my lunch I ran to the snakes and ladder. First I went to the ladder and it felt like goo.  When I went on the slide it was  muddy, slippery and dirty. When I went down I got dirty and then I went back down and played with Thomas. We were playing with dices. Then we saw two buses coming in and then we waited for the third bus. It finally came and then we headed back to school for a refreshing ice block.  We went back to class and I said “That was an exciting adventure” .

My Holiday Story By Raymond

In the morning I woke up and I was excited about my cousins birthday party and we had to meet him at  climb zone. After my breakfast we went to there and we waited until they came but  I said to my mum lets just go to our cousins house he might be waiting for us so we went off to his house and I saw a couple of my friends Aj Daniel and I said to daniel where's Tomas and he said he is coming to the birthday party and i said to sylis happy birthday and I gave him 20$

and then we went to climb zone and I felt nervous because it was as tall as the roof.

When we got there me and Thomas,Aj,Alex,Daniel and Sylis went to advencher time and we played tag and all of Sylis’s cousins and friend came and join us to play tag and one of the manger said to Sylis uncle that he was not allowed to be in here and then we all started to play again and me and Thomas found a secret hiding spot it was in a barrel and then sylis’s dad called us all for lunch and we had pizza,chicken from KFC,chips,and lollies then we but our harnesses on and we climb and the first one i climb was the king Kong building where he was fighting the planes and I climb it to the top and now I have faced my fears and I said when I was at the top I not scared any more and then I went down and then I quickly went back and ate more food and I was fool and I went back down to climb more zones and then Tomas finished all of them then  I finished all of them. Then me and Tomas whet to Adventure time and we looked for some more hiding spots and then I found one and i told Tomas then there dad called again because it was cake time and then we said happy birthday to you song and then we had some cake and the cake tasted like pure melted gold dripping out of your mouth and then we played hiding go seek no one found me Tomas and sylis. We hide in the barrel because no one would look down  and then there sylis friend look down and saw us and we went to go hide again then we hide in the dark gave and no one found us then we had to go because we needed to go to the matariki festival and we saw Lani there too and my aunt buyed us some glow bands that light up then we went back to my cousin sylis,es place and we played on our ipods,tablet and ipad we played despicable me 2 which you had to run and try and beat your friends score on my list I am coming first sylis is second place. Then we heard the fireworks and we went outside and we saw it with bang bang boom boom it was so cool my best one was the green one because it is loud and it is bright like the sun and then we went home and went to bed.

On Friday we went out to play a game named Bulls Eye it was a very good game but it was very hard to concentrate on the dart board to get the Bulls eye but Cyprus got the most because he concentrated on the dart bored Jacob got the least because I thought he was not pushing the dart hard enough.

My favourite foods are corned beef and rice.

My Tapa Instructions By Raymond

How to make a Tapa
Equipment List
30cm x 30cm square of brown paper
Black vivid marker
Pencil
Ruler
Dye
Bleach

1. Rule the paper every 3cm across and downwards. This should make a 10 x 10 grid
2. Draw a picture using a pencil
3. Go over pencil marks using a vivid
4. Rub out the grid
5. When you arr done you rub out your grid.
6. Scrunch up paper ten times.
7. Dye paper with brown dye
8. Let the Tapa dry.
9. Bleach over the areas you would like to have white Tapa.
10. Let the Tapa dry and hang it up.
